Senior living services - the right mix for your organisation

The unique mix of capabilities within the Perpetual Group means Senior Living and Aged Care providers can access the exact mix of services and advice they need. The Perpetual Group provides a mix of strategic advice, operational improvement and investment expertise required to reshape organisations to meet the challenge of regulatory change, sector consolidation and a shifting marketplace. Working with Perpetual gives you the resources you need to prepare for the future

At Perpetual Private we understand the importance of providing investment solutions that align with your mission and the outcomes you are trying to achieve in the community. Our service is flexible, dynamic and adaptable to your organisation’s changing needs.

We manage more than $5.5 billion in charitable funds for our clients, who include Senior Living and Aged Care providers, not-for-profit organisations, philanthropic individuals, families and communities.

How we work with Senior Living and Aged Care providers:
  • Investment Management Workshop. Defining how your investment portfolio is to be managed and decisions are to be made, based on your organisation's unique objectives.
  • Strategic Asset Allocation. Identifying the most suitable mix of assets for your portfolio Investment selection and implementation.
  • Customising a solution to suit the needs of your organisation.
  • Governance and capacity building. Experience and networking opportunities to support your organisation.

The right advice can strengthen your organisation and free up your leaders to focus on clients and drive change. In Aged Care in 2022 – Time for a strategic shift? we argue that many Senior Living and Aged Care providers could benefit from deep strategic analysis of their operations and options. Fordham – the accounting and business advisory arm of Perpetual Private – provides that analysis and can drive operational improvement in your balance sheet, margins, service design and costs.

We can also help you adapt to industry consolidation – and explore new ways of generating income and financial stability – by drawing on extensive experience working with boards on all types of valuation/buy/sell/merger transactions in the Senior Living sector.

How we help Senior Living and Aged Care providers with strategy and operations:

Our team - in their own words

Everything we do at Perpetual stems from our core belief of fiduciary duty and trust. Whilst the Senior Living space is under an array of reform and operational pressures, challenging status quo is critical to creating a care economy for our older Australians. By sitting with boards and executives, we are able to understand their needs and to identify where we can incorporate our unique offerings in investment management, corporate finance and business advisory.” Anthony Hamawi – Manager, NFP and Aged Care, Community & Social Investment, Perpetual Private.
“We are in the fortunate position to partner and collaborate closely with key leaders in the Senior Living sector. It’s really important for us to understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing providers. This allows us to purpose-build investment strategies aimed at balancing both liquidity requirements and return objectives. The current operating environment is extremely difficult for our senior living clients, however, an appropriate investment management strategy can open up opportunities to improve profitability.” – David Hurley, Senior Financial Adviser, Perpetual Private.
We are passionate about helping Senior Living organisations generate better returns from their balance sheet assets through tailored investment advice, research and governance advice. We know this sector is highly conservative and so we work closely with management and board directors to establish tailored investment management strategies that seek to balance risk with return generation in a way that each organisation feels comfortable with.” – Emily Barlow, Investment Director, NFP and Aged Care, Perpetual Private
