Perpetual Group is committed to reducing our own operational environmental footprint. We are taking actions to reduce our operational footprint and we purchase carbon offsets to cover our operational Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions globally.
To reduce our operational carbon footprint, initially we have focused on tackling the energy used to power our offices. We purchase GreenPower for the energy we use in Australia and we are also seeking to improve the energy efficiency of our offices.
For the first time, we also received Climate Active certification for our Australian operations. Climate Active is an Australian Government certification program that supports national climate policy by driving voluntary climate action.
